Champions League Furore

The UEFA Champions League is up and running at an incredible pace. Some surprise packages have managed to qualify for the knockout stages. These include Fiorentina and Bordeaux. Big guns like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Real Madrid have qualified. Five time winners Liverpool had an early exit from the tournament.
Defending champions Barcelona do have a firm grip but we still have to wait for the last day of group stages to see if they go through the round of 16.

Exam Frenzy

Yo dudes!! Exams are here. IP University's BJ(MC) exams are starting from the 15th. Don't be shocked, in this godforesaken university, we practically have exams every month.. And to cap it all, this time we have very little wiggle room between the exams. On an average we have got one day off to prepare for every exam. Which means, when I get home from one gruelling exam, my next exam is day after tomorrow. That day is wasted in getting rid of the hangover of the day's paper and the next day is spent frantically worrying about next paper.
Thus it can be concluded that we are blessed souls to be a part of this university.

Srilankan Tigers are here

After succumbing to an ODI series defeat to the Australians the Indian team will now face the Tigers. I was twenty years old we last played with them and even now i am 20! Wonder why we play so much with the Emerald Isle. Could this be a return of the favor done by the Lankans when they played truant in the series scheduled against Pakistan.

Hope they don't come back before next autumn..

Despite the Australian team's perpetual injuries, the so called Men In Blue, gearing up to dominate the world of cricket has been slammed to a defeat on its home turf that is not going to support its quest to be the top notch team. Losing to Australian bench must have hurt them deep. Adios Amigos!!!!
